NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (6/12/2015) Nearly a year after the kidnapping of 33-year-old Nefertiri Trader from her home near New Castle, a $30,000 reward is being offered for information in the case.

On June 30, witnesses saw “Neffie” Trader being forced into her car about 4 a.m. in the first block of Freedom Trail in the Saddlebrook community.

She was last seen by her children the evening before and had been in contact with a family member then.

After family members reported her missing, New Castle County police issued a “Gold Alert” about her disappearance but have received little information and neither she nor her car have been located, Officer First Class Tom Jackson said.

Police and the FBI this week launched a regional campaign in an effort to locate her, with the combined reward from the two agencies being offered for information leading to the arrest of anyone responsible for her disappearance. Billboards seeking information have been placed along Interstate 95.

Trader is described as African-American, 5-feet-6, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen in her silver 2000 Acura RL with Delaware registration 404893.

Jackson said anyone with information as to her whereabouts should call 911, the New Castle County Police Department at 302-573-2800 or visit  www.nccpd.com.
