DOVER, DELAWARE (6/9/2015) A man was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of Dover Downs Hotel & Casino late Monday, city police said today.
The incident happened just before midnight at 1131 N. DuPont Highway (U.S. 13).
A 39-year-old man had left the casino and was about to enter his vehicle when the male robber showed a black handgun and demanded money.
The victim turned over cash and the robber fled in a black four-door sedan, Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.
The robber was described as white, about 5-feet-8, with dark hair and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
