WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (6/8/2015) An 18-year-old Wilmington man has been arrested in connection with the shooting of a woman last month, city police said tonight.
Jayvon Stevenson was arrested Thursday at a home in Claymont. He was charged with assault and possession of a firearm by a person prohibited.
The shooting happened May 25 at a home in the 1900 block of N. West St.
A 22-year-old woman was shot in the right leg.
Police said Stevenson was being held at Young Correctional institution in lieu of $70,000 cash bail.
