WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (5/25/2015) A 22-year-old woman was shot in her right leg this evening, Wilmington police said.
The shooting happened about 6:50 p.m. in the 1900 block of West St.
The victim was treated at the scene by New Castle County paramedics and taken to Christiana Hospital in Stanton in stable condition, police said.
Police are still investigating the shooting, which they believe happened inside a home.
