3 arrested after heroin found in car near Seaford

SEAFORD, DELAWARE (5/20/2015) Three people were arrested after troopers found 308 bags of heroin during a traffic stop east of Seaford, Delaware State Police said Monday.

A silver Cadillac was stopped about 12:10 p.m. Monday for failing to signal at a stop sign on Haven Drive at Concord Road (Route 20), police said.

The driver, Hunter B. Waller, 20, of Laurel, was found to be operating on a learner’s permit and none of the passengers had valid licenses.

Police said they found the heroin in a black sock in the center console as well as $400 in suspected drug proceeds and also found marijuana.

Waller was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, conspiracy, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without learner’s permit in possession, failing to signal and other traffic counts. He was released on $25,000 secured bond.

Jermar K. Thompson, 26, of Seaford, was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was being held at Sussex Correctional Institution near Georgetown in lieu of $50,000 secured bond.

Sharmayne A. Teagle, 22, of Seaford, was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released after posting $24,800 secured bond.
