WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (5/10/2015) A man who robbed a woman at a motel outside Wilmington fired several gunshots at witnesses who chased him, Delaware State Police said.
The incident happened about 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Fairview Inn, 1051 S. Market St..
The man, carrying a handgun, robbed a 25-year-old woman of cash and personal property in an unlocked room.
As he was fleeing through the parking lot, several witnesses chased him and he turned and fired.
No one was struck.
The robber then fled in a vehicle with another man driving. Police had no descriptions on the two.
