NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (5/4/2015) An overturned dump truck that closed the two right southbound lanes on U.S. 13 near New Castle for more than an hour has been removed and all southbound lanes have been reopened.
DelDOT reported the accident just after 9 a.m. at Bacon Avenue in the Wilmington Manor area.
Only one southbound lane on the left lane remained open as crews worked to remove the truck.
At 10:25 a.m. the lanes were open but emergency vehicles still blocked the turn lane from Bacon Avenue to southbound U.S. 13.
Delaware State Police are on the scene.
