WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (4/15/2015) A 31-year-old man was shot in his right leg tonight, Wilmington police said.
The shooting happened just before 8 p.m. at Kirkwood and Taylor streets.
Officers on patrol nearby heard the gunshots and located the victim in the 800 block of Kirkwood street.
He was treated at the scene by New Castle County paramedics and taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in stable condition, police said.
