Lockdown lifted after threats to Dickinson High

DSP logoMILLTOWN, DELAWARE (4/15/2015) Telephoned threats led to a lockdown of Dickinson High School this morning, but a search found nothing unusual and normal operations resumed just after 10 a.m., Delaware State Police said.

An unknown caller to the school at 1801 Milltown Road about 8:10 a.m. said he was en route to the school to detonate a bomb. Three minutes later, a call by the same person to Wilmington police said he was en route to the school and was armed with guns, state police said.

State troopers and K-9 units searched the building and police are continuing to investigate.
