DELMAR, DELAWARE (3/20/2015) Three male suspects are being sought after a home invasion north of Delmar this morning, state police said.
The incident happened about 8 a.m. in the 10000 block of Bacons Road.
The three, their faces partially covered, approached a 54-year-old man who was preparing for work and went outside to warm up his vehicle.
One of the three white males pointed a handgun at the victim and forced him back into his home. He was forced to the floor and his hands were tied.
The trio fled with money and firearms in the victim’s 2008 Maroon Nissan Xterra.
The victim was able to free himself and waved down a motorist to call 911. He was not injured.
