BP gas station in Glasgow robbed at gunpoint

GLASGOW, DELAWARE (3/9/2015) Two robbers with a handgun escaped with cash from the BP gas station on U.S. 40 in Glasgow, state police reported today.

The robbery at at 2360 Pulaski Highway (U.S. 40) just west of Route 896 happened about 7:20 p.m. Sunday.

A 53-year-old woman working at the business complied with the robbers’ demand and turned over cash from the register. They fled in an unknown direction.

The clerk was not injured, Master Cpl. Jeffrey Hale said.

The robber with a handgun was described as a black male weighing between 180-200 pounds. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black pants, grey hat,and white sneakers.

The second robber was described as a black male also between 180-200 pounds. He was  wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and brown boots.
