DOVER/MILFORD, DELAWARE (3/2/2015) The Bayhealth Cancer Institute will host two colorectal cancer screenings this month that are free to those who are uninsured or under-insured.
Monday, March 9, 2015, 5 p.m.-7 p.m.
Bayhealth Cancer Center, Milford Memorial Hospital
Pre-registration is required by March 4.
Wednesday, March 18, 2015, 5 p.m.-7 p.m.
Bayhealth Cancer Center, Kent General Hospital, Dover
Pre-registration is required by March 13.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths and is the third most common cancer in both men and women. Risk factors include obesity, smoking, heavy alcohol use, physical inactivity as well as a diet high in beef, pork, lamb, liver and certain types of processed meats.
