DOVER, DELAWARE (3/2/2015) A 30-year-old man is being sought in the armed robbery Sunday of two women in the parking lot behind the Dover Public Library, city police said this morning.

The two women and an 11-month-old child were preparing to exit their vehicle when, police said, Matthew Gannon approached with a handgun and said, “This is a stickup.”

Police said he pushed the gun against the side of one of the women seated in the vehicle and removed her wallet from the center console.

The victims told officers that Gannon and a black male fled toward East Reed Street.

Police said Gannon, of no known address, is wanted on charges of robbery, possession of a deadly weapon during commission of a felony, aggravated menacing, conspiracy and endangering the welfare of a child.
