NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (1/23/2015) A Rite Aid Pharmacy near New Castle was robbed at gunpoint, state police reported today.
Two masked men entered the store at 501 E. Basin Road just before 8 p.m. Thursday.
One of them had a handgun and a 20-year-old clerk turned over cash from the register. He was not injured.
The two robbers fled toward Basin Road.
The gunman was about 6-feet tall and 170-180 pounds, wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants.
The other robber was about 6-feet-1 and 170-180 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
