ELSMERE, DELAWARE (1/9/2015) A liquor store near Elsmere was robbed Thursday night for the second time in as many weeks.
The latest robbery at Charles Liquors, 807 N. DuPont Road, happened about 7:15 p.m., state police said.
A man with a handgun confronted two employees, who complied with his demands for cash. The robber then fled, running toward the rear of the building.
No one was injured, police said.
The robber was described as 20-30 years old, about 5-feet-10 and 180-200 pounds. He was wearing a dark jacket, gray hooded sweatshirt and dark shoes.
