MILFORD, DELAWARE (1/8/2015) Milford police charged a 29-year-old Millsboro man with using counterfeit $100 bills at the Grotto Pizza Restaurant on Route 1.
Isaiah Fields was arrested at the restaurant Monday and charged with forgery, attempted forgery and theft by false pretense under $1,500.
On Friday, police said, Fields had used a fake bill to purchase food at the restaurant.
On Monday, just after the restaurant had reported the first incident, police said Fields attempted to use another counterfeit bill to buy food.
Fields was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of $7,000 secured bond.
Police said Fields also was wanted on an active warrant from Justice of the Peace court.
