WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (1/4/2015) A man walking was struck in the Canby Park Estates area of Wilmington and the driver of an SUV fled on foot this afternoon, according to reports from the scene.
The incident happened about 4 p.m. in the 1900 block of Seneca Road.
According to early reports, the accident was caused by a Dodge Durango and the pedestrian was caught between a parked vehicle and a fence.
The victim, a middle-aged man, was taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital.
Wilmington police are investigating.
