BEAR, DELAWARE (1/4/2015) A man with a handgun robbed the Metro PCS store in Bear on Saturday, state police reported today.
The robbery happened about 6:50 p.m. at 1641 Pulaski Highway (U.S. 40).
The robber confronted a 22-year-old woman working at the store and she complied with his demand for cash. He then fled on foot.
No one was injured.
The robber was 25-30 years old, 5-feet-5 to 5-feet-6 and with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark gray jeans and black sneakers.
Police asked anyone with information to call troopers at 302-834-2630.
