Wawa robbed by man with knife

OGLETOWN, DELAWARE (12/30/2014) A man armed with a knife and a mask over his face robbed a Wawa convenience store on Monday, state police reported today.

The robbery happened about 3:45 a.m. in Salem Village Square, at the intersection of Chapman and Salem Church roads.

The clerk, a 31-year-old man, turned over cash and the robber fled. The employee was not injured.

Police said the suspect was 5-feet-10 to 6 feet tall, about 170-200 punds. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and a blue jacket.
