STANTON, DELAWARE (12/30/2014) A man with a handgun robbed an ice cream store in Stanton on Monday, state police said this morning.
The crime happened about 5:30 p.m. at La Guerrerense Ice Cream Store, 2307 W. Newport Pike.
The robber fled on foot toward Limestone Road.
The store employee he confronted, an 18-year-old man, was not injured.
Police described the robber at about 6-feet-1, 160-180 pounds. He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and white sneakers.
