REHOBOTHÂ BEACH, DELAWARE (12/30/2014) A Lincoln man was arrested on multiple drug charges after he was spotted consuming marijuana while driving with a small child in the car, Rehoboth police reported today.
The arrest Dec. 22 of Jonathan L. Harris, 38, came after a month-long investigation with state police into cocaine and crack distribution in the Fourth Street area, police said.
Harris allegedly tried to destroy evidence when he was arrested near the 7-Eleven store.
Police said they seized about 25 grams of cocaine, 2.8 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and $200 cash.
Harris was charged with 1-Count of Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Tier 5 quantity, 2- Counts of Tampering with Physical Evidence, 1-Resisting Arrest with Force, 1-Count Offensive Touching Law Enforcement, 1-Count Possession of Marijuana with an Aggravating Factor, 1-Count Possession of Marijuana, 1-Count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child while DUI, 1-Count of Resisting Arrest, 1-Count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 1-Count of Criminal Mischief under $1000 and 1-Count of Drug Related DUI.
He was released after posting $29,000 secured bond.
