Arrests in 3 Wilmington shootings

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (12/11/2014) City police have made arrests in three recent shootings, police announced today.

A 15-year-old was charged Tuesday with attempted first-degree murder, possession with intent to deliver heroin and related counts in the shooting of a 24-year-old man in the 700 block of E. 10th St. on Nov. 21. The teen was already in custody in connection with unrelated weapons offenses. He is being held at the New Castle County Detention Center.

Qy-mere Maddrey, 23, of New Castle, and with a 13-year-old boy from were charged with attempted robbery and related counts in connection with an incident Dec. 4 in the 1100 block of W. Second St., when a 49-year-old Wilmington man was shot in the left forearm. Maddrey is being held at Young Correctional Institution in lieu of $120,000 cash bail. The teen is being held at the New Castle County Detention Center.

Jacquez Robinson, 19, of Wilmington, was charged with assault in connection with the shooting Nov. 25 of an 18-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman near Maryland Avenue and Stroud Street. Robinson is being held at Young Correctional Institution.
