Manhattan Bagel shop robbed on Concord Pike

TALLEYVILLE, DELAWARE (7/16/2015) A man robbed the Manhattan Bagel shop in Talleyville early today, Delaware State Police said.

The robbery at 3209 Concord Pike (U.S. 202) happened about 3:20 a.m.

The man, wearing a bandanna, entered an unlocked door and confronted a 30-year-old man working inside and demanded money. The employee turned over cash and the robber fled.

Police said no weapon was displayed or implied by the robber.

The employee was not hurt.

The robber was described as black, 25-35 years old, about 5-feet-11 and 180-200 pounds. He was wearing light grey pants, black T-shirt and black shoes.
