42-year-old man wounded in Dover shooting

DOVER, DELAWARE (2/9/2017) A 42-year-old man was shot multiple times in the first block of S. New St., Dover police said Wednesday.

Police responded to a report of shots fired at 6:43 p.m. Tuesday and found the victim had driven himself to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital.

He had been wounded in the torso and was hospitalized for treatment, Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.

Police are still investigating the shooting and asked anyone with information to call 302-736-7130.
