BEAR/GLASGOW, DELAWARE (11/18/2015) Five drivers have been robbed in the Bear-Glasgow area in recent weeks while making food deliveries, New Castle County police reported today.

The robberies happened between Oct. 29 and Monday in Wellington Woods, Waterford Mobile Home Park, Pinewoods, Raven Glen and Newtown Village.

In each of the robberies someone ordered food from local restaurants to a specific location, and as the driver approached the address, they were approached by someone with a handgun who demanded items from the driver

In each robbery, 3-6 black males were in front of the location as the driver approached. The robbers fled into the community in each case either by vehicle or on foot, Officer First Class Tom Jackson said.

He said detectives think the cases may be related.
