NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (APRIL 12, 2018) A fatal crash involving a car and a pedestrian closed westbound U.S. 40 west of New Castle this morning.
Delaware State Police reported at 7 a.m. that all westbound lanes were closed near Wilton Boulevard.
The crash happened about 5:30 a.m.
