PRICES CORNER, DELAWARE (3/26/2018) A fire caused heavy damage at the Alpha Shopping Center early Sunday, authorities said.
The blaze was reported at 4:42 a.m. at the San Marcos Restaurant, 3602 Kirkwood Highway.
Flames were coming through the roof of the building when Mill Creek Fire Company arrived, said Michael Chionchio, assistant state fire marshal.
He said investigators from the Delaware state Fire Marshal’s Office are trying to determine how the fire started.
Damage was estimated at $30,000.
No injuries were reported.
