WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (11/9/2017) An 18-year-old man was shot to death early today, Wilmington police said.
The victim was found about 12:13 a.m. in the 500 block of S. Franklin St.
He was identified as Justin McDermott of Wilmington.
Police said he was found on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his head.
McDermott was treated by New Castle County paramedics, then taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton. Police said he died of his injuries at 1 a.m.
