NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (6/25/2017) A 45-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in the Overview Gardens community near New Castle, authorities said.
The shooting happened about 6 p.m. Saturday in the first block of Chesterfield Drive.
When New Castle County police arrived, a crowd was starting to form and additional police were called to the scene.
The victim was taken by ambulance to an area hospital but police released no information on his condition.
