NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (5/13/2017) Flooding has closed a road near New Castle this morning.
DelDOT crews placed barricades on Airport Road near the Sheraton Hotel, just off Interstate 95, around 9:30 a.m.
The National Weather Service predicts occasional heavy rain today with some street flooding possible.
By 9:50 a.m., more than 1.4 inches of rain was measured at several spots across Delaware.
