Man shot in arm in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (4/25/2017) A man was shot in his arm in Wilmington this morning, city police said.

Gunfire was reported in the 100 block of N. Van Buren St. about 11:10 a.m. and the victim was found in the 100 block of N. Jackson St.

The victim, about 19 years old, was treated by New Castle County paramedics and taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton. Police said he was in stable condition.

Evidence of a shooting was found in the 100 block of N. Van Buren as well as in the 1000 block of Pleasant St., police said.
