MILLTOWN, DELAWARE (1/26/2017) A WSFS Bank branch was robbed, the Delaware State Police reported Wednesday night.
The robbery at 4601 Kirkwood Highway, at the Limestone Road (Route 7) intersection, happened shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday.
A man approached a teller and handed her a note demanding cash. No weapon was shown or implied.
The teller turned over money and the robber fled. No one was injured.
Police said the robber was black, 20-30 years old, 5-feet-10 to 6-feet tall and weighing 180-200 pounds. He was wearing a dark sweatshirt, dark pants, dark boots and had a scarf partially covering his face.
