DOVER, DELAWARE (8/19/2016) A 25-year-old man was shot to death in Dover on Thursday night, city police said this morning.
Officers found the victim in a home in the 100 block of S. Queen St. about 9:30 p.m. They provided first aid until an ambulance arrived and he was taken to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital.
Emmitt Brown was pronounced dead from his injuries at the hospital.
Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said Brown had been shot in the torso.
Police are still investigating and more details will be relased later, Hoffman said.
