HARRINGTON, DELAWARE (8/10/2016) One suspect has been arrested and a second is still sought by Harrington police in an armed robbery at Bridle Bit Liquors last month, authorities said today.

The robbery happened July 29 at the store on South Dupont Highway (U.S. 13).

The robbers wore dark clothing and had their faces covered, escaping with cash and alcohol.

City police said their investigation led them to Shaiheme D. Edwards, 18, of Clarks Corner Apartments in Harrington.

Edwards was found there Monday hiding under a bed in a second-floor bedroom, Capt. Earl K. Brode said.

He was charged with first-degree robbery, possession of a deadly weapon during commission of a felony, aggravated menacing, wearing a disguise during commission of a felony, second-degree conspiracy, offensive touching and resisting arrest.

Edwards was being held at Sussex Correctional Institution near Georgetown in lieu of $62,500 secured bail.
