The SUV came to a stop in the middle of the northbound lanes of Route 1.

Cain was flown by Delaware State Police helicopter to Christiana Hospital in Stanton.

Seymore was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Police did not release details on their injuries.

Both northbound lanes and the left southbound lane were closed while police investigated and the wreckage was cleared.
