WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (8/1/2016) A man was shot in the head in the 400 block of W. 23rd St. in Wilmington late Sunday night, according to reports from the scene.
The shooting happened about 10:45 p.m. and the 24-year-old victim said he was walking up steps to his home when he heard multiple shots, then realized he had been wounded.
He was taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton.
Wilmington police are investigating.
