DOVER, DELAWARE (7/30/2016) A robber with a knife escaped with cash from a Shore Stop convenience store north of Dover early Friday, the Delaware State Police reported this morning.
The crime happened about 9: 35 a.m. at 3668 N. DuPont Highway (U.S. 13).
The robber confronted a 36-year-old man working at the store and demanded cash. The clerk wasn’t injured.
The robber fled to the north after the clerk turned over money from the register.
He was described as white, 5-feet-5 to 5-feet-10, and was wearing a dark shirt, blue jeans, gloves and glasses.
