UPDATED STORY: 1 arrested, 1 sought in Harrington liquor store robbery

HARRINGTON, DELAWARE (7/29/2016) An employee was struck in the face during an armed robbery at Bridle Bit Liquors in Harrington early today, city police said.

The crime happened about midnight in the 17000 block of S. DuPont Highway (U.S. 13).

The two males entered the store and one demanded  money, Capt. Earl K. Brode said.

The pair then jumped over the counter, took cash and alcohol, then fled.

Injuries to the employee were minor, Brode said.

One robber was about 5-feet-7 and 140-150 pounds. He was wearing black shorts and a gray sweatshirt.

The other was 6-feet-1 and 170-190 pounds. He was wearing a black sweatshirt and black sweatpants.

Both had their faces covered.
