GLASGOW, DELAWARE (7/17/2016) Three people were injured early today in a crash on U.S. 40 in Glasgow, authorities said.
The collision of a small truck and car happened about 1 a.m. at the Lagrange Avenue intersection.
The 27-year-old driver of one of the vehicles was treated for injuries to extremities and taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton, said Cpl. David J. McKinney Jr. of New Castle County paramedics. A Delaware State Police medic also helped with treatment.
A 24-year-old woman who was a rear-seat passenger in the other vehicle was treated for back pain and taken to the hospital.
A middle-aged man driving the second vehicle complained of wrist pain and was taken by ambulance to the hospital for further evaluation, McKinney said.
He said all three were in stable condition.
State police are investigating the crash.
