BRANDYWINE HUNDRED, DELAWARE (5/13/2016) A 57-year-old man was seriously injured in a fall from a ladder in Brandywine Hundred, authorities said Thursday.
The incident happened in the 2600 block of Bittersweet Drive, in The Timbers development.
The man fell about 15 feet from a roof to a second story of his home, said Sgt. Abigail E. Haas of New Castle County paramedics.
He was treated for a head injury and flown to Christiana Hospital in Stanton by Delaware State Police helicopter in serious but stable condition, Haas said.
New Castle County police are investigating.
