WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (5/8/2016) A man and a woman were shot just before midnight Saturday at 27th and North Market streets, Wilmington police said early today.
The victims were found in the first block of W. 27th St. A 27-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds to his lower extremities and a 25-year-old woman was wounded in her right hip.
They were treated at the scene by New Castle County paramedics and taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton, police said.
The man was in critical but stable condition, police said, and the woman was in stable condition.
