BRANDYWINE HUNDRED, DELAWARE (4/5/2016) A woman suspected of trying to rob two banks in northern Delaware and a successful heist at another bank was identified this morning by Delaware State Police.

The latest attempted robbery happened about 1:48 p.m. Monday at the PNC Bank branch at 691 Naamans Road, at the Northtowne Plaza shopping center in Brandywine Hundred.

A woman handed a note demanding cash to a teller but fled before receiving any money. No weapon was shown or implied, and no one was injured.

Police said they have identified the woman as Tamera C. Segal, 19, of Powder Springs, Georgia.

She also is suspected in the attempted robbery of a PNC Bank branch at 1 E. Basin Road near New Castle on Friday, and the robbery of a WSFS Bank branch at 115 College Square in Newark on Friday.

State police have warrants charging Segal with two counts of second-degree attempted robbery.
