WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (3/25/2016) One person was shot in the 700 block of N. Monroe St. this afternoon, Wilmington police said.
Officers heard numerous reports of gunfire in the area about 1:15 p.m. and found the male victim in a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was treated at the scene by New Castle County paramedics and taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton in stable condition, police said.
