DOVER, DELAWARE (3/7/2016) Multiple gunshots were fired in the parking lot of Bubba’s nightclub on U.S. 13 in Dover early Sunday, city police reported this morning.
Officers were called to Bubba’s, 865 N. DuPont Highway (U.S. 13), at 1:36 a.m. to disperse a crowd of 300-400 people that had gathered outside the nightclub and in the adjacent Home Depot parking lot.
As the officers were dispersing the crowd, the gunfire erupted in the parking lot at Bubba’s, Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.
No injuries were reported but one vehicle was struck with a bullet, Hoffman said.
“Officers recovered 22 shell casings from two different caliber firearms in the parking lot of Bubba’s, near the front entrance,” Hoffman said.
He said police are still investigating the incident and asked anyone with information to call 302-736-7111.
