PIKE CREEK, DELAWARE (2/24/2016) A man with a handgun robbed a Walgreens pharmacy in Pike Creek, the Delaware State Police reported Tuesday.
The crime happened about 8:20 p.m. Monday at 4575 New Linden Hill Road.
The robber walked behind the sales counter and confronted an employee, demanding cash from the register. The employee complied and the robber fled.
No injuries were reported.
The robber was described as white, 20-25 years old, 5-feet-8 with thin build and brown eyes. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and wore a bandanna over part of his face.
