Police identify T.G.I. Friday’s homicide victim

NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (2/9/2016) City police this afternoon released the name of a 48-year-old man shot to death Monday night outside T.G.I. Friday’s Restaurant on U.S. 13.

 

The shooting at 128 N. DuPont Highway was reported at 6:58 p.m.

The victim, initially believed by police to be in his 20s, was identified as Eric Pearson, of the Philadelphia area.

He was shot several times in the parking lot, Senior Lt. Adam P. Brams said early today.

Pearson was pronounced dead at the scene by New Castle County paramedics.

City, New Castle County and Delaware State Police were on the scene. The homicide is being investigated by city police with assistance from county police, Brams said.
