14-year-old boy charged in Dover shooting

DOVER, DELAWARE (12/17/2015) A 14-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday in the shooting of another teen in the Hamlet community last week, Dover police announced this morning.

Deontray Watson was charged with first-degree assault, four counts of first-degree reckless endangering, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony and by a juvenile, and criminal mischief.

The shooting of a 16-year-old boy happened about 4 p.m. Thursday on Village Drive.

Watson was being held at Stevenson House Detention Center in Milford in lieu of $14,250 secured bond.
