Armed, masked man robs Little Caesars in Newark

NEWARK, DELAWARE (12/9/2015) An armed, masked man robbed the Little Caesars Pizza restaurant in Newark, city police said Tuesday.

The crime at 240 Delaware Ave. happened about 11:30 p.m. Monday.

The robber, armed with a handgun, demanded cash from two employees, a 44-year-old Wilmington man and a 22-year-old Newark woman, Lt. Bill Hargrove said.

They complied and the robber then ran off toward South Chapel Street.

The robber was described as black, 25-35 years old, 5-feet-7 to 5-feet-10 and with average build. He was wearing an orange sweatshirt and blue jeans.
