ODESSA, DELAWARE (12/7/2015) A 69-year-old woman was in serious but stable condition after a crash on U.S. 13 south of Odessa, authorities said.
The motor vehicle accident happened shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of U.S. 13 (South DuPont Highway) and Fieldsboro Road.
The injured woman was treated at the scene for neck and chest injuries, then flown by Delaware State Police helicopter to Christiana Hospital in Stanton, said Sgt. Michael A. McColley of New Castle County paramedics.
State police are investigating the crash.
Odessa Fire Company also responded.
