HOCKESSIN, DELAWARE (12/3/2015) A serious crash has closed Lancaster Pike (Route 41) just south of the state line in Hockessin.
Delaware State Police initially reported one person had died in the crash, but later revised that to say one male driver of a car had been admitted to Christiana Hospital in extremely critical condition.
The accident involving three cars and a tractor-trailer happened about 6:05 p.m. at Ace Memorial Drive, about a quarter mile south of the state line.
Police are on the scene investigating and Lancaster Pike is closed between the state line and Valley Road.
